Getting Started on Research in the Adirondack Park

The search box options above are a great place to begin gathering information about the Adirondack Park.

After you perform a search, we recommend you use the left hand side limiters to narrow the results.

If you find a source you do not believe you have access to because of a paywall, consider requesting it through the library Interlibrary Loan services.

If you are stuck on where to begin make a list of keywords related to your topic to use as search terms. Some keywords may be more successful than others, be flexible and persist until you find the best sources for your needs.
